Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Isha's POV

Right now I am sitting in my room and in front of me there is a card , not actually a card but it's my fate , my future , my destiny where I had no choice but to follow , where nobody will listen to me but I had to obey ......

While thinking about all this I took out my diary , my best friend and wrote :-

14 - 8 - 2020

Dear diary ,

I know that I am writing after a long time and I am sorry for that .... Honestly I don't know what's happening in my life , everything is getting worse and I don't know how to handle what to do ??

Papa had fixed my marriage with Daksh Rajput ~ son of his old friend  . But I don't want to, I want to pursue my studies further and want to be a lawyer . I tried my best to convince them , I begged them but they didn't listen at all ...... Tomorrow  is my wedding with him .

Why is it so ? Why is it happening with me ?  Am I so bad ? Do I don't deserve love ? Why do they behave like that ??

This is my fate and I  can't do anything but just have to follow it .

Maybe this is the last time I am writing it .

While writing all this I don't know when I started crying and a few drops fell on the paper as well .

After some time , there was a knock on the gate revealing my cousin Aisha . She knows everything and also that I don't want to get married . She came to me and held my hand and said " Ishu , there's no need to do this if you don't want to . "

After listening to her ,  a  dry laugh escaped from my mouth " Aisha , do you think I have any choice in it . Or I am doing it willingly . No , I am not . I am clearly forced into all this mess by my own family . The one with whom I was with all these years , now they don't even want to listen to me . My brothers also ignored me just for the sake of their  business . "

" Believe me Aisha ,  for the world it will be marriage between two people but in reality it's a mere deal between both the families. And I am nothing but just a pawn in my father's game "

After a long pause , Aisha spoke with a serious expression" Then just ran away ". I didn't believe what I heard " What " .

" Yes " she said " If you don't want this to happen then you have to take a stand for yourself . Still you are having time ,  run away from here . "

"But how " I asked because I don't have money , don't know where to go , whom to contact , what to do and the most important question is how . Because our mansion has high security and guards are there everywhere  , it's impossible to escape from here .

"See , there are less guards at the back gate of the mansion and I will distract them for a few minutes then you can escape . And for money you can sell the jewelry because that is the only thing which you have right now with yourself . "

She said after thinking for some time .

She was right .

After some time I took out a bag and started packing some of my suits which my mom had brought for these  functions , and a shawl , my phone , charger , and I also packed jewelry and my diary .

Then with the help of Aisha I somehow managed to get out of the mansion but now the real problem was to pass through the back gate .

Then Aisha move ahead towards the guards and ask one of them to call everyone present in that are and started instructing them something and taking chance of this I silently move out and ran without looking back because I know this thing very clearly that if I will stop then there is no chance to go back .

After walking continuously for 25 minutes  I reached the main road and was thinking about what to do , where to go ......

Then I waited there for some time as someone can give me a lift . I tried to stop a car but it didn't stop and moved away with such a high speed that it scared me , ignoring that I was waiting for another car then I saw that the same car was coming backwards and stopped right in front of me .

My hold on my bag's strap tightened as I was scared that what if someone will kidnapped me ?? Do something bad to me ?? Or . Or maybe they will take advantage of me .

Ughhhhhh

Then slowly the door of the Balck car opened and two men in a three piece black suit came wearing goggles and were having guns , by their appearance they look like bodyguards

" Goggles seriously at this time when it's clearly night . What kind of idiot they are ?? Don't they know this much that during night time no one wears goggles . " My inner voice said this .

" Shut up " I said to my inner voice thinking whose bodyguard they could be ..... What if....they were Papa's bodyguards....no..no no this can't happen. If they get to know that I ran away they are not going to spare me . I know what they will do and it scared me a lot .

Thinking all this I looked at those bodyguards they were approaching without a second thought I threw my bag on them and ran from there with my full energy .

Honestly I ran with so much speed that if I was in a marathon right now then no one could stop me from getting a gold medal .

Then after some distance I saw a man standing in the middle of the road beside a car talking on the phone with someone as I could not see his face as his back was facing me .

I ran towards the man and I lost my balance because of a stone in the middle of my path and was about to fall , as I was waiting to touch the ground and when I didn't then I opened my eyes hesitantly and realised that there were two strong arms which held me .

My eyes met with those dark brown eyes .

Author 's POV

On the other side of the city  when the entire city was quiet and calm , there was a storm growing in the boardroom of RR Industries in the form of Rudransh Raghuvanshi.

He was the CEO of the company who was here because of the stunt performed by  Singhania Enterprises as they cancelled their deal with them and gave the project to another company .

Right now he was fuming with anger and was controlling himself and he stormed out of the boardroom leaving every single member there shocked and relieved as well because they knew his anger very well .

Rudransh's POV

I was not supposed to come to the office as this time but  my PA called me and said " Sir , please come . It's urgent ."

" You know Ritik , I am going to my house right now ." I growled .

"I....I know sir but....but Sir , actually Singhania's had cancelled the deal and they gave it to Oberoi's " . He said hesitantly as he knows further reaction .

"What" I almost yelled and stopped my car and turned it in the opposite direction towards my office .

The moment I reached the office everyone became silent and I reached the boardroom and Ritik gave me details .

" How can he do this with us ?? They have made a big mistake " I said angrily and tapped in the table which resulted in the breaking of the glass table and went away from there with heavy and fast steps .

Here I was going back to my penthouse and my mom called me and said

" Rudra , beta kaha hai tu ??? Aaya kyu nahi abhi tak "

" Ma , I am sorry actually mein aaj nahi aa paunga " I said while looking straight to the road .

"Kyu " a voice came from behind and I know who it is .

" Because I am stuck here with an important issue , Rhea " I replied .

" Ohhh ! So bhaiya it is an office work only ki .... Ki aap kisi special ke saath ho ,  hmmmm ."

" Office ka kaam toh bahana hai magar asal main kisi ke sath date pe Jana hai .... Haina ! " .

Oh god why this girl always had to talk on this topic I have told her hindered times that I am having no one in my life . But she didn't understand and because of her Ma also started doubting me .

" Rhea , I guess you have your exams na . So padhayi karlo pehle meri love life pe baad mein dhyaan dena .." I said In a cold and firm voice .

Before  anyone can say anything I cut the call by saying that I am driving .

Which is of course true ......

And after driving patiently for a few minutes my car actually stopped and I came out to check it and found that the engine got damaged.

I am like " Wow , no just wow .... Yahi bacha tha hone ke liye ."

Ughhhhhhhhhhhh

I call my PA and ask him to send a car and two people to take my car and also a mechanic.

Then only I got a call from Mr . Dixit is my father's close friend and the moment I cut his call .

I felt that someone was about to touch me from back and the moment I turned around I saw a girl who was about to fall but before she touched the ground.

My hand shot out, sliding firmly around her waist, pulling her toward me before she could hit the ground. Her weight pressed into my chest for a fraction of a second, and I could feel the startled jolt in her breathing.

For a moment, her eyes stayed closed, breath uneven. Then, slowly, she opened them—hesitantly, like she wasn’t ready for what she’d see.

And then her hazel eyes met mine.

Dark brown to hazel. In that instant, it felt like everything stopped—

My fingers tightened slightly at her waist without meaning to, grounding her, maybe grounding myself too.

“Careful,” I murmured, my voice low, though part of me wasn’t sure if I was warning her about the fall—or about what her eyes were doing to me.
